Great Drill Bits

I used these to drill holes for some quarter turn latches in MDF. They resulted in very clean and round holes with minimal tear out on the exit side and a very clean look on the starting side. I've since also used them in cherry hardwood with good success as well. The bit tip keeps the bit centered and has allowed me to do stepped holes by starting with a larger bit and switching to a smaller bit halfway through. Excellent quality rapid smooth-bore drill bits!

These sturdy bits are very sharp make quick work cutting through wood i.e., 2x4 and post. Definitely recommend this dependable set. Although not rated for cement board it easily cut through a thin piece. As tips sharp handle carefully to avoid a cut to finger.

Large size diameters in the set.

Purchased these bits at a great price for future use. Large size diameters which I currently dont have.

Very impressed with the design, weight of each of the drill bits. Would highly recommend these drill it’s to anyone that is a handyman by trade or home enthusiast that loves working with wood.

Impressive drill bits

The drill bits are fast, sharp, and heavy. They leave clean holes. They can be used on softer materials like drywall and MBF as well. They are NOT designed for metal. They worked on my standard drill.

Superior to a spade bit

Watch the video, these things chew through wood. The auger bits are far more effective than a spade bit and they snap into my impact. That's definitely my favorite part! I would love to have these in more sizes.

Sharp clean cuts

Spyder Stinger Power Bits make fast clean cuts. Used them on pine, mahogany, and hard maple. Found no difference. The hex shanks make for easy grip and no slipping or burring. Cutting the tops off the package makes for great storage.

Great Little Set!

This set is well made. You can use it for drilling holes in softer materials like drywall, MDF, etc. It can also be used to drill holes in 2x4's, plywood, or particle board. Be careful when handling as they are quite sharp. They fit in any standard drill.

Spider 4 piece Stinger power bit set

I didn’t have a specific project in mind but wanted to try this set out. Just tried it with my basic electric drill and one inch thick mdf. They powered through the board easily, much better than I expected considering my drill. Edges were very clean. But definitely worth me investing in a better drill. I’m very happy with these bits. Comes 4 in package, sized 1/2 inch, 5/8, 3/4 & 1 inch.
