What Customers Are Saying
The SMARTCORE Ultra Luxury Vinyl flooring product has received mixed reviews. Many customers are satisfied with its beautiful appearance, easy installation, and durability, praising its marble-like look, waterproof and scratch-resistant qualities, and comfortable feel. However, some customers have experienced issues with the installation process, finding the interlocking mechanism challenging and the tiles difficult to align properly, leading to gaps and uneven surfaces. There have also been reports of quality control problems, with damaged or mismatched tiles in some boxes. Overall, the product seems to be a good option for those who value its aesthetic and practical features, but customers should be prepared for potential installation challenges.

Would RecommendInstalled this over trashy looking peel and stick plank the previous owners had installed. I'm fairly certain the below deck had water damage from 30+ years of showers or more, and they slapped on the peel and stick to cover it up. Truly proper solution would have been to do a tear up and replace the subfloor, but I'm 73 years old, can't afford to contract it out and had to work within my means and capabilities. This Smartcore Ultra is rigid enough to cover over some waviness. I cut it with a f...
Looks Great!
Would RecommendEasy to install, but edges and corners were difficult to fit. I got it done, just really had to work to get those last pieces. This was for a small kitchen and laundry area. Started with 5 boxes which was 1/2 box over what I needed, but had to get 2 more because of the cutting for shorter edges and corners. I love the end result it just took more work than expected.

Would Not RecommendPanels do not lock together as other brands do. Only way to use is to glue to floor and each other and still tiles shift apart. Actually had to completely grout all tiles to close seams. Horrendous waste of time, effort, energy. Does not function like name brand flooring.

Decent overall
Would RecommendProduct looks pretty good. I didn't find installation to be any harder or easier than any other laminate floor I've installed. The tongue can be a little bit on the brittle side though -- be careful tapping pieces into place. A little on the expensive side, but I was only doing a tiny bathroom. Hopefully this "temporary" remodel holds up for 3-5 years until I can gut the entire bathroom and install real tile.
