Would RecommendThis is a great chainsaw! It is lightweight and so easy to handle. The battery is powerful enough to cut a 6” log and lasts for about an hour. The recharge time is quick which makes it easy to get back to work. It’s so much easier to use than my gas saw!

Excellent except where lots of small branches
Would RecommendI have several Skil battery operated equipment items and I love them. They are lightweight and really powerful considering they are battery operated. The only thing that bothers me is that if you are using the saw to cut a shrub with lots of small branches, it is bad about throwing the chain off track, Other than that, It is terrific.

Great tool for my needs
Would RecommendI occasionally need a chainsaw for tree trimming, but haven’t owned one before. I got this because I didn’t want a 2 cycle engine and the gas/oil storage issues. I used this for limbing the bottom branches off cedars, and it works great. It had no problems getting through the thick branches. I ended up with a full pickup bed (8’) of branches, and only used about half a battery charge. I did notice that it used a fair amount of chain oil, but that’s expected.
