What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this fence post bracket for exceptional strength, secure fit, and straightforward installation. Most highlight how firmly it holds 4x4 posts without any movement or wobble, with many describing it as delivering unmatched rigidity for decks, railings, and pergolas. The black powder-coated finish resists rust effectively. Installation is consistently called easy, with pre-drilled holes streamlining setup. Some note the fit is tight, occasionally requiring minor post trimming, but users frame this as ensuring a secure connection. Despite a few mentioning higher cost, the overwhelming majority confirms it performs exceptionally and exceeds expectations for stability and durability.

Tight fit.

These work great, just be careful when using close to the edge of a concrete slab. Being so tight, I recommend pounding them onto the post before mounting to the concrete. Install the four concrete anchors first then plumb post and screw in the lag bolts to the 4x4 post last. If the concrete slab is not level use treated wood to make shims.

Works as expected

Tags won’t come off without a lot of work. Since it is a surface mounting the post has give to it and it doesn’t feel particularly stable.

Product is fine but you will need a heat gun to remove the 4x4 sticker and then be prepared to spend even more time getting the remaining glue off. Ridiculous, really!
