It’s made of a heavy gauge steel and allows for a quick and easy attachment. Utilizing the bolt holes in the base as well as the sides ensures a secure foundation for railings. The black powder coating elevates the design. I’m pretty sure we’ll never building another deck without these bases.

In the beginning I was a little nervous because of how lightweight and thin this was but once it was anchored down tight it held the 4x4 in place and best of all it was thin enough to take the sleeve.
