What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this post base for its durability, secure fit, and effectiveness in extending wood post life by preventing ground contact and moisture damage. Most highlight sturdy metal construction, easy installation, and reliable performance in deck applications. Many note the precise fit on standard posts and adjustability for alignment. While several mention the higher cost, most conclude it delivers long-term value and would purchase again. A few report fit issues with treated timber or installation concerns, but these are isolated. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it for serious post protection.

Base fastener design needs work
Would Not RecommendThese bases are great in concept but execution was not to standard. After installing the base with a 5/8" x 7" concrete anchor bolt I put tapcon screws in the two smaller holes for stability. The concrete I am working on has slight imperfections which cause the base to wobble back and forth. I have to remove all of the posts again to drill more anchor points for tapcon screws. I would also like to see a wider opening to reach the fastening nut to secure it more if needed.
