Would Not RecommendI liked that I could shift the posts some after installation and that these kept the post out of the ground. However a 6x6 is pretty heavy. This is hardly enough to hold a large 6x6 vertical during installion. You will need bracing. The posts still have a lot of sway in them without the roof being installed on my 8x12 porch.

Treated timber don't fit.
Would Not RecommendI like the ease of anchoring this base to the concrete. I do not like that treated 6x6's are too large to fit into the base without flaring out the vertical sides where the nails holes are located.
