Fits perfectly in the space I have, love the pet lock, the stay open lid option and the wheels in the back. Also VERY happy with the speed of delivery ... practically next day.

I have three
I love this trash can and have had one for over a decade or two. Ordered two more. Great for a small space or if you have a dog who looked to get in the trash.

Perfect for our kitchen
This slim, tall easy to use step can works perfectly for our kitchen. This tall bin with the small footprint and narrow width is the best fit for our kitchen. We all love the ease of the hands-free step and slow, soundless close. The easily used clip works while training our ever-present pets. After a while they assume they can't access the bin so they don't even try. Another essential feature is the well fitting standard, ubiquitous 13 gallon liners obtainable at any grocer's. We have had three...

wish there was a liner
I love the slimness but hate having to use plastic bags to line it. wish there was a hardshell liner inside or that SH made biodegradable bags

Great trash can!
I love the trim design of the simple human 40L step on trash can. It doesn't resemble a bulky, ugly garbage can. It fits perfectly nearly my kitchen cabinet...love it.

Fantastic idea!
I bought 3 of these cans. 1 for garbage and 2 for recycling. I picked them because they won't take up too much space. They are beautiful but way too small for a family. I gave them to my sister. Wish they made these cans bigger!!
