I’m loving this trash can, it fits perfectly between my stove and counter. I will have to get something to keep it from sliding on the hardwood floors. Would definitely recommend!

Fits great. Regular 13 gallon bags work with it too.
Our regular Kirkland 13 gallon trash bags fit this snuggly and capacity seems about the same as our older wider Trashcan. This fits perfectly in a space between our fridge and pantry and the kitchen doesn’t feel as cluttered.

Loved the first one and this one looks good two
We bought the first one maybe 12 years ago because we had two trash raiding Labs. It worked great thought the teeth marks on the lid shows that the dogs didn't give up. 12 years of kids stomping on the step and sometimes with the lock on and the hinges finally gave way. The slim profile fits perfect in a corner and the grey is the right color for the kitchen. The Dogs are sadly gone and the kids off to college so this one will have a easier life.

Does what it’s built to do.
I got this so that my dog wouldn’t keep getting into the garbage. He’s a 9 month old Aussie and has recently discovered his height. Having a trash can with a locking lid is excellent. And having the long design is perfect for the tight location I have it inset. Great can, couldn’t be happier.

Great for what we needed it for
We have a small kitchen and our city recently decided to stop picking up glass for recycling. I purchased this so we could have a separate bin in a very small space! It works really well, is both lightweight and sturdy and fits nicely in the back of my car.

Loving it!
This is the second simplehuman we have purchased & are loving the new color! It actually matches beautifully with all the stainless appliances in the kitchen! The first one lasted 20+ years & are looking forward to getting a long life from this one!

Sleek, Fits in Small Spaces, But Tips Over Easily
This trash can has a decent capacity, and I like the rectangular shape and construction, as it's a bit more modern and allows it to fit in a small space, but the lightweight plastic material it's made out of means it tips over really easily. We have accidentally knocked over a full trash can by opening the freezer door slightly too wide before, which isn't something that happened with our old stainless steel trash can. The step works well, and we haven't had any reason to use the pet/child lock...

Garbage can
This is my second one. The first one lasted about 5 years until the plastic hinges wore out. The lock feature is awesome for keeping dogs out of the garbage.
