Bought 2 replacements for one we got over 10 years ago. Pet lock is great. Slow close is great. Slim size is great. No question SimpleHuman is the way to go. Highly recommend.

Love! Love! Love!
This Slim step can is more than I expected...high quality, best fit and looks absolutely gorgeous in my kitchen. I use it for recycling and it's between the washer and cabinet. I live in an apartment so keeping everything clutter free is important. Designer look all the way!!!

Excellent size--don't have to stoop
Excellent size--don't have to stoop to deposit trash. The step-on feature serves the same purpose. Nice, unobtrusive color, fits in our kitchen.

My New Kitchen Step Can
On vacation, the condo had on of these slim step cans in the kitchen, By week's end I was looking online to find one. I ordered a white one. My only little complaint is the black metal that shows in the back of the can. If I got the black one it wouldn't be noticed - I think. Still, no big issue. My usual 13 gal. bag fits perfectly - Glad Forceflex.

Love it
This is our second one. The first one (grey) is trash this one (black) is for recycling. Love how thin they are and can still hold 13 gallon trash can liners!

Awesome
Well made, works great. I have many products from simple human and they do not disappoint

Functional and a great size
Functional and a great size for narrow spaces. Because it is lightweight and has wheels, it tends to move backward every time you open it until it is about halfway full of trash and then it stays put. Overall a good product.

Last set lasted 8 years of heavy use
I actually ordered two more of these. The last set lasted 8 years with heavy daily use in a family of 6. The latches do get looser over time, but they can be tightened. If I didn’t have kids doing crazy kid stuff to them, they would last forever. So grateful they still make them! Perfect kitchen trash/recycling. Regular trash bags work great in them.

I wanted a garbage can
I wanted a garbage can with a foot pedal to open the lid and that was narrow in width and that’s surprising hard to find. This garbage fit what I was looking for perfectly and it has a nice look. I know it’s only a garbage can but it does sit out Visible to all so it’s important that it doesn’t look like a normal cheap can.
