Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We previously had the traditional door style microwave. When we underwent a home remodel we decided to try Sharp's microwave drawer. Can't tell you how wonderful this item is. The drawer feature makes access much easier. Also, there is no rotating turntable inside to clean and it heats extremely well. Highly recommend. Love it!!!

Bad APP and APP connection
I had the microwave for 10months. The microwave its self is good, the APP and Wifi Connection sucks. Looses connection too often, is hard to reconnect and APP often will not work because it says it is use which it is not. Doesn't allow you to close drawer, just an open drawer. Would be great to get ride or give option to remove confirmation on action. If I make a mistake I will cancel it.

Would Not RecommendLike many others, it was installed in a custom kitchen island. Looks are appealing. 950 watts is a bit under powered, but that is not a negative as the power is clearly stated. The "hand wave" feature is a joke; has never worked. We have replaced the control panel once and the magnetron once. Now the new panel has stopped responding. Piece of junk. And we are stuck purchasing another Sharp due to size dimensions as we are not calling a contractor to rework the island....

Would Not RecommendSharp makes microwave drawers for most other manufacturers which gives it some street credibility. We have used ours for a couple of months and it works as it should. However, for a newly designed appliance (introduced in 2023), there are a couple of inexcusable shortcomings. First, the buttons on the display panel are not backlit making it annoyingly difficult to see the buttons. Second, the associated app is very poor (1.6 stars on Google Play).

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just installed this so I don't have a lot to say yet, I will try to update as I use it more. The one ding on the stars is the App setup could be a lot easier. Also I don't see how I can monitor the "status" of the microwave from the app, like is the drawer left open or is it currently cooking something (and ideally approximately how much time is left in case something is a long cook).

Would Not RecommendMicrowave works fine. Alexa OK. Does not work with Google Home only the Sharp Kitchen App (you can't say: "Hey Google, microwave for 1 minuite" for example.)

Sleek Appearance, Space Saving Microwave
Would RecommendNot the most powerful microwave, but the reason we purchased this was to save counter space and get rid of our over the range unit when remodeling. Works as advertised, very convenient and sleek looking. Good size cooing tray, easy to get large bowls or pans in and out, should work well during holiday meals.
