Ease of use with minor design flaws
Would RecommendThe drawer design is very convenient for an under-counter installation like ours. This unit replaced a traditional designed microwave that required kneeling to use. However, the Sharp is not quite as powerful requiring longer cooking times. The main design flow of the Sharp is the timer function, that every microwave should have and be easy to use. On this model, there is no dedicated timer button; rather it is embedded in the button to access the microwave's settings (clock, wi-fi, alarms, etc....

Before making the decision did my due diligence and looked at reviews and found that Sharp is the only true manufacturer of the drawer model so that narrowed our decision and the exact model was narrowed by the features of it.
