Should have read reviews before buying.

I got this microwave 10/27/23 and now it's dead. It seems to be operating, but it's not. Tried to heat and microwave dinner and after the first 3 mins. from directions the meal was just as cold as it was when I put it in. Tried a few more times still nothing. Less than 5 months old and it's useless. Unless you need a clock that takes up your counter space, don't waste your money like I did.

I first purchased this model in September of 2018, which I had selected based on the compact size that worked well in my space, in addition to good experience with a previous Sharp microwave. In less than two years, the new microwave failed and began turning on by itself. I would come home from work or wake up in the morning to it running. First and foremost: This known design flaw of the unit turning itself on on its own has existed unfixed since before 2017. The sharp " customer service" responses to negative reviews appear to say sharp will help you with this flawed product, but ONLY SUGGEST YOU BUY ANOTHER sharp microwave!! No refund, no warranty exchange. Absolute scam. I am done with such a knowingly and intentionally dis-honest company

Sharp says call them but refuse to fix or refund

Absolute horrible experience. Look at all the reviews that say this design flaw causes this microwave to turn on itself randomly. Sharp is obviously aware this is an existing design defect. When I called them they REFUSED to fix or refund this item, instead they suggested I go to the Sharp web site and order another one....as if.."Thank you sir may I have another?" Fire Hazard!

Safety Hazard! BEWARE consumers. I Can't believe this product is still on the shelves. It turns on by itself and you can't shut it off. The only way to get it to shut off while plugged in was opening the door. When I shut the door, it started running and no cook time was entered. I unplugged it to see if it would reset and waited 10 minutes, plugged it in and it was still running by itself. While it was running, I hit 'Stop/Cancel', but no response. Nothing on the keyboard would respond....

Critique Review

Timer setting goes on its own, numbers by touch doesn’t sink in on touch u kinda have move your finger until set, clock time doesn’t stay on. I can feel heat standing close to screen.

I buy all my appliances at Lowe's.

Works perfectly. Fits in my kitchen and looks nice.
