My Yard is nothing but beach sand. By adding Scotts Soil adds some elements for my grass seed to grow. Believe it or not seeds are forming my new lawn. Amen! Will be running back to buy more bags to keep spreading all around my lawn. Thank Scotts for formulating this product that works.....

Helped hold seed and germination

Good soil

In just two weeks, I have managed to fill in bare spots thanks to the nature of this soil. Hint: Use lawn seed that is native to the area.

Lawn soil

You would think for $10 a bag you would get soil, it’s full of bark and rocks. After it rains that’s all that is left. It’s not soil, it’s mostly mulch.

Excellent quality soil

I purchased this item to help convert a natural area in my yard into a grassed area. I distributed several bags prior to having the space seeded. The landscaping company said it looked great and they fully expected the soil to grow grass where it has not previously grown.

Good product

Works fairly well. The only thing I had to do is re-spead it when it rained. I am not sure if that's the product or just how it usually is with any kind of top soil.

Fast rooting grass

I used this soil to seed a large spot in my yard. It has fertilizer in it. The grass came in quickly. It is getting thicker and thicker. I just bought more to do another spot

We bought this recently and it has done an awesome job on our lawn.

Horrible

Worst soil possible! So disappointing. After all the work I did raking out my soil and preparing the putting this on top, it is all mulch and rocks and completely wasted all my hard work. I had to spend countless time and energy sifting all the open bags so I could plant grass seed.
