Excellent insulation

Good insulation with only minor itching. Do wear a mask with it. Fairly heavy, but stays in place if your studs are exactly 24 in OC. If not, it falls and needs to be supported with clamps or straps. Cannot staple as it has no backing paper. Not carried in my store and had to be shipped, which took 2 weeks. Then took the associates 30 minutes to find the delivery.

Great product.

This is a great product. Living in Florida I especially like the fact that it does not rot or promote growth of of fungi or mildew and it is moisture and water resistant.

Will never use fiberglass again!

Awesome product! Easier to install than fibreglass batts, seals much better than fiberglass, moisture-proof, mold/mildew resistant, fire-proof to 2150 degrees F, slightly better R value than fiber-glass, much more of a sound barrier than fiberglass. Just wish the different sizes were stocked in the store...

The amount of sound reduction is immediately noticed

So far, I have bought 5 packages of the comfortbatt to finish my garage and I don't have plans to stop there. I am insulating and finishing our 2 car garage and when just one wall was insulated the noise reduction was already very noticeable! It is easy to cut, easy to install, easy to notice a positive difference! I am already planning on using the safe'n'sound on my next project. This should make regular fiberglass insulation obsolete

I'm remodeling my 1950 mid century modern home one room at a time. I started with the hardest room to heat & cool, knocked out the old plaster & had the room sprayed with rigid & soft foam. The guys rushed the job & left some thin spots and even bare wood showing thru. I wanted to fill voids with Roxul but could not find it anywhere in Oklahoma so I hung the drywall anyway. Prefer rock wool insulation

Having finally found a vendor in the local area that would sell it, I use nothing else. It doesn't mold. Air and moisture do not as readily move thru material as such do fiberglass. Bugs don't appear to like the stuff. R value per inch provides better insulation in remodel of structures with 2x4 walls without resorting to scabbing 2x2s or double-walling exterior walls.

I am in the middle of a full renovation and have used Roxsul in my attic. I plan on finishing walls with Roxsul also. Very happy overall with product.

Works great in our 1942 house!

We had the old insulation vacuumed out of our attic, to get the house re-wired. There's still some to do, so some of the attic is uninsulated at this time. This has actually been interesting, despite the high temps where we live, because we can measure the effects of different amounts of insulation. The first layer is the R15, to the top of the joists. I had used quite a bit of the Comfort Batt when we lived in VT ( mainly our last house we had up there) and loved it , our house stayed nice and warm plus i put some in a wall that was between out living room and office ( there was a tv and sound bar hanging on that wall) and when I was in the office I could barely hear a thing . Easy to work with!

Used this in our basement to fill gaps between floor joists (that little picked between the concrete basement wall and the ceiling) - flexible, easy!

I would buy this product again

it would be better if each roll has length guide and tin sheet to attach insulation.

Better Conformance to Joist Spacing

Fiberglass batts depend on springback to original shape, from large compression in packaging. That springiness then results in buckling if a bit oversize for the space. Rockwool doesn't do this. Lost contact with confining surfaces destroys insulation value.

I love using this compared to regular fiberglass batts.

I just started using this instead of regular batts and seem to like it alot more .

Staying either warm or cool

Rockwool insulation is energy efficient and consistent. It keeps our family comfortable during all seasons.

New kitchen, south exterior wall. Better R value. Sound suppression. Easy to cut. Doesn't fall apart when handling. Keeps it shape. No itching like fiberglass. Great Product. Costs a bit more but you get that back many times over!!!

Installs nice

We supply and install Rockwool Our customers love it because it is the best insulation on the market. It is fire proof, looks amazing in the wall cavities and has great thermal properties. I encourage my customers to choose Rockwool over traditional batt and even spray foam applications. We enjoy the product very much !

Easy to work with.

Used it to insulate exterior basements walls.easy to cut and install with the added rigidity over fibreglass. Great for basements as moisture does not have adverse effects like with fibreglass.
