Great product and is so much better than fiberglass!

Product is nice and thick and fits the stud bays very nice! Product is also heavier then fiberglass!

We used this product for the walls and joist headers in our basement, which is a "split level" basement (ie. not true basement because it's only 3-4 feet below grade). Overall, we were impressed with the product, especially for two DIY hesitant people. We used both the R14, 2x4, on the 16" for wood and the R24, 2x6, on the 16" for wood. We purchased about 16 total. The torch on a batt sold me years ago.

The very first time I saw ROXUL at a show and there was a torch up against it and not burning at all. It has been nothing but ROXUL that I have used in any renovation.

Excellent product, easy install, way better performance

Have used Roxul in bedroom walls, mudroom floor walls and cathedral ceiling, and basement walls. This is so easy to use, fits extremely well and reduces air movement in joist spaces. I have tested the way it repels moisture and held a propane torch to it. Just amazing and feel safer in my old home with it in the walls. The only negatives I have experience are that it is a bit tricky to install between old rough sawn studs and that the two pieces in the ends of the package take a while to "fluff...

I have used this product in my walls and ceiling

I haven't found any thing bad, I like the comfort I get from knowing how well protected I am , from water and fire and mold protection. Plus the savings on my hydro bill.

I used this product to insulate my attic and was very impressed with this product. Being able to cut this insulation so easily to the required sizes was especially notable. The old insulation in my attic was extremely degraded. After removing the old insulation and installing the ROXUL, I could immediately tell a difference in heat retention and a decrease in drafts. I will continue to use ROXUL for any insulation project in the future.

I am very satisfied with this product.

My 17 year old son' re-insulated my attic for me this summer. I saw the product on a DIY video and could not believe how easy it was for them to do this project. They thought it was going to be difficult but when they discovered how easy it was, they finished the attic in no time at all.

This product was easy to install.

My mom wanted to re-insulate the attic to prepare for the winter. I completed the project with my twin brother, Big Mike and it was so easy. We were 17 years old and completed the attic within less than 1/2 day. We would recommend this product for sure.

Prior to discovering Roxul ComfortBatts, I had used fiberglass batt insulation. Not only does Roxul have all of the pros listed above, it's got a greater R-Value per inch than fiberglass batts, meaning it is easier to get better thermal performance in retrofit installations. It is a little more difficult to find at lumberyards than the fiberglass batts, but it is worth seeking out. While I think the product is a good value, if they could bring the price down a little it would *really* put fib...
