I'm insulating the attic truss of a garage. About 2000 sq ft of roof area. This works well. I can already tell that it makes a difference of the heat gain in the attic. It does require cutting to size, and does require a fair bit of time to do it right. I think this insulation is much superior to fiber glass. It does stay in the bays. I'm also strapping it with a fabric pallet strapping material as well.

Easy to work with. Holds up better.
Would RecommendNo itchy aftermath to speak of. But best of all you get better insulating against San Joaquin valley heat and mountain cold from snow. We are west facing in the Sierras. 100 to 15 degrees. Excellent product!!!

Would RecommendI have replaced all of the old 1955 insulation in my home and i am working on the last room right now.I'm using R14 for 2 x 4 application inside my walls.I am so glad that i'm using Roxul as it has already shown to lower my heating bills and the accoustics changed right away.I don't hear much noise outside anymore. It is so easy to install and it's not itchy,i'm cutting the pieces with a bread knife. Thanks guys for a great product!

Great Insulation
Would RecommendRockwool is much better than fiberglass insulation. Higher R value for the same thickness, higher sound attenuation and the benefit of fire resistance.

excellent insulation
Would Recommendgood r-value, water resistant so it's mold resistant, great sound barrier. a bit itchy, so wear long sleeves and a paper dust mask. it just wedges in and no fasteners needed. also known as mineral wool and available in other sizes

Great for my Attic Renovation Project
Would RecommendI am in the process of making my attic into a bedroom and this was the first product that I looked at, and after doing my research on the products from other companies and chose this product for its value and for the quality of this product.

Great product
Pulled out tons of mouse dropping infested fiberglass insulation in new lake home. Garage is under living space and we’ve been in single digit temps here and great improvement. Friction fit, no stapling so easily installed single handedly by this 61 year old female in garage ceiling

Worth the extra $$
Would RecommendThis is far superior to fiberglass insulation. Much easier to work with, and higher R values to boot. Tip, get a couple of their knives that are made to cut this type. The have a long blade and handle. Sure beats a utility knife and straight edge. I will not but fiberglass insulation again.

Attic ceiling
Would RecommendUsed in older attic ceiling. Must use strapping to hold it up. Seems like it will make a big difference.

Does what it says.
Would RecommendHad to redo an addition on my home, practically no insulation at all originally. Once this added, the room now doesn't lose cooling like it used to and it feels much better on the rare cold spell.

Good stuff!
Would RecommendIt hasn't been tested in winter yet, but I'm sure this insulation will work well. It's easy to cut, fits tightly between the roof joists, and is overall nice to work with. Doesn't irritate the skin, but I wouldn't want to breathe it. Fragile and drops a lot of dust, so cover things and have the Shopvac ready for clean-up.

Best option
Would RecommendWe are building a tiny house and wanted to find an insulation that has a great R value, but also something that was more environmentally friendly and wouldn’t leech out into our home. This was a great option! And a great price!
