Safe and quiet
I’ve used Rockwool insulation behind walls and under joists to isolate the sound in the TV room from the surrounding rooms. It performs well and was easy to install. I will use it again soon in my attic. Our furnace is in the attic and I believe that adding Rockwool insulation between the rafters will help to keep the attic cooler in the summer which will lower my AC costs.

Hands Down Bar None Best Insulation
Rockwool ComfortBatt is such a great product that is easy to use, easy to install, and gives so many benefits to our new custom homes. After installing it on my personal home I am convinced it is the best product out there. It went in so fast, wasn’t very messy, and that is before all of the benefits you get with any Rockwool product. Quiet, stable, fire and water resistant…this is going to be a lifelong high performance product.

Best fire resistant insulation!
I finally got around to fire stopping my garage since I live above it, and I chose Rockwool to fill joist cavities and pipe and wire penetrations. Rockwool is not only fire resistant but also has the best sound deadening properties out of any insulation on the market, and that’s great when I have to leave for work and my wife is still sleeping I know the noise of the car will not wake her up!!! I did tons of research on mineral wool insulation and Rockwool is the original best product to pro...

Comfort Batt for the win...AGAIN
We have been using RockWool on our interior residential renovation products for quite some time. It is a no brainer for us and for us to utilize on our projects. Its resistance to mold, rot, mold, and mildew because it is made of spun stone that cannot absorb and hold water is amazing and a game changer. It also offers incredible sound reduction and fire resistance. It is fluffy, holds its shape in the wall cavity, easy to trim down, and is not itchy fiberglass. Love it and love everything ...

easy up
Would RecommendI have installed 8 bags so far in the floor of my camp, product installs very easy. There were approx. 1-2 peices per bag that lacked rigidity to hold it in the bays, what I mean is each peice has a rigid side and a soft side these peices were both soft sides. Quality control should be payed more attention

Best Mineral Wool
Would RecommendCompared to other brands of "mineral wool insulation", Rockwool is the one I like best! It seems to hold its shape better, is more dense, cuts easily, and the pricing is better @ Lowes as well! What's not to like!

Always use Rockwool
Would RecommendI have used this in every new build I have done. There are so many positives to using mineral wool to other insulation products. Rockwool brand is the best product on the market

Roxul Batt Insulation
Would RecommendI've installed WAY too much fiberglass batt in my life! Roxul is the BEST! High R-val (R-15 in a 2x4 wall). Easy to cut w/ bread knife; allows accurate cutting. Minimal masking required, minimal (if any) itch. Nice fit in standard frame cavities.

great product but overpriced
Would RecommendGreat product; bought additional packages of the same item at my locally-owned builder supply store for $47 each while Lowe's listed price is nearly $75 each.

Reinsulated ceilling of 60's house
Would RecommendRockwool is a nice product work with. It is surprisingly heavy at first. I reinsulated ceilings where joists were 20-in on center. Rockwool is easy to trim to width with an electric knife and straight edge. I believe it is a better long term product than the blown in options.

Terrible website- is ComftBatt product any better?
Would Not RecommendRead many positive reviews about RW ComfortBatt insulation; so went to a lumber yard and bought some to try on an exterior wall wood studs insulation project. Foolish me, expecting a company in 2019, to have an easy to navigate website with some basic installation information. “Search here...” OK...let’s try: ‘Installing ComfortBatt’.... “Residential .... SellSheet” (nope). “Ratings....”(nope). “CavityRock....” (nope). “ComfortBatt ...Guidespec” (nope). “Commercial CavityRock (n...

Great product
Would RecommendWay better than working with the pink stuff! Easy to use and form into tight spaces. Used as battens in walls, great sound proofing too.

Easy to work with
Would RecommendIt's easier to get a nice fit than with fiberglass insulation, seems less dusty too. I ordered 20 bags, two bags came a little messed up.

Great product
Would RecommendI did not want fiberglass insulation, and this was an acceptable alternative.

Excellent Insulation
Would RecommendThe Rock Wool mineral insulation is an excellent alternative to typical fiberglass batt insulation. It is easily cut with a “bread knife” type tool and slightly compresses at the sides to provide a better gap free fill. It is self supporting so no stapling although on overhead applications between open joists, wire insulation supports may be needed until drywall is applied. Rock Wool is fireproof, does not require a vapor barrier and does not settle and the sound deadening properties are remarka...
