What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this insulation for exceptional thermal and acoustic performance, noting warmer homes, reduced energy costs, and significantly dampened noise. Installation is remarkably easy—it cuts smoothly, requires no special tools, causes no skin irritation, and fits snugly into tight spaces, making it ideal for DIY projects and renovations. Most customers declare they will never return to fiberglass, citing superior R-value, better durability, and resistance to fire, mold, water, and insects. A few mention blade dulling during large installations, but this minor drawback is vastly outweighed by overwhelming positive feedback.

Would RecommendRockwool is amazing, its worth every penny. Easy to install, you can cut it with bread knife, just pop it into place and it stays. Only issue was I couldn't order the amount I needed online, I had to call the store to place a special order.

I love this stuff!
Would RecommendRenovating the attic, we are replacing the existing insulation (R6 at best due to how much old fluffy stuff has settled/compacted over the years). The rockwool bundles are compacted at the factory just enough to pass them through the attic pull down - they are not terribly heavy but a little awkward to carry on your own (I'm a small guy at 140#). On my attic pull down, the end of one of the springs caught the side of the package on the way up just enough to cause the bag to "pop" right there in ...

Should have done this years ago !
Would RecommendMy 1986 built single level ranch home has always been cold in the winter and hot in the summer; and we live in San Diego. We finally decided to add some new insulation on top of our existing fiberglass R30 insulation that came with the house. My handyman and one helper installed the new Rockwool R30 in one day. We immediately noticed a difference !!! We set the thermostat to 69 degrees and the house is comfortable all day and night. The heater comes on very seldom and when it does come on it...

Superior Product
This product is superior and easy to cut to fit any area you may have.
great product
Would RecommendWe replaced our insulation in our attic that was in there since 1962 with the Rockwool and it made a huge difference in our home.
Great insulation
Would RecommendLove this stuff. Cuts with a bread knife no need to buy a special knife. Can feel the difference in the rooms I put it in. Lots of other great qualities like repels water if wet, repels rodents - won’t make nests in it, and won’t catch in fire. Will buy more.

Inconsistent quality. Contains rat feces
Would Not RecommendI've bought about $4000 of this stuff and it's hit or miss when I buy the stuff. Some of it is wet like it sat out in the rain, then it has a urine smell to it when it's wet. It's supposed to be water resistant, but it soaks it up like a sponge and doesn't dry out. Then some of it looks like it contains rat feces.

Great product and less itchy
Would RecommendI used this product to insulate the ceiling of my garage. At time water can get in from the roof fan vent so I needed something completely water resistance. Noticed that the rock wool was also a lot thicker and less prone to collapsing then traditional fiber glass insulation. I double layered it for r60 and my garage is easily 20 to 30 degrees hotter or colder then the outside air. Perfect for what I’m storing and for using my garage space to workout in.

easy up
Would RecommendI have installed 8 bags so far in the floor of my camp, product installs very easy. There were approx. 1-2 peices per bag that lacked rigidity to hold it in the bays, what I mean is each peice has a rigid side and a soft side these peices were both soft sides. Quality control should be payed more attention
