Great product. Easy to work with

Cost Effective for Small Areas / Shallow Cavities

This product is worth the money, especially if you need to insulate a very small area.I cut the batts in half to insulate the ceiling cavity between my kitchen and upstairs bathrooms. It was more cost-effective bag-for-bag than buying safe n sound.

Great insulation

I used this product to insulate the floor and ceiling of a large attic storage room before finishing it. I also used the R-15 version to insulate the walls. It is easy to handle, does not release particles into the air like fiberglass does (or at least much less so), cuts easily to fit around obstructions, and compresses for a tight fit. I would use it again in a heart beat.

Had to drive 3.5+ hrs each way to pick up but we needed insulation for our cathedral ceiling and it was either this or spray foam. Rockwool is very easy to install and can be cut to size with a bread knife. I also like that it doesn't cause your skin to become irritated or itch like fiberglass can

Easy to cut, does not compress easily, very little itching. Wish lowes carried the rolls as well.

Incredible Insulation

We installed R23 Comfortbatt in exterior walls, R24 in our I-Joist floor platform, and R38 plus a layer of R15 in the attic of our new construction owner-built house. What a huge difference it made in thermal comfort of the house, even before the vapor control layer and drywall was in. Love the resistance to fire, water, mold, insects, etc. and our DIY install was easy!

Easy Installation and Very Quiet

I used the Rockwool R38 and R15 Comfortbatt in my garage build. I did a flash and bat method with 2" of spray foam and then the R15 Comfortbatt on the walls. Installation was easy and boy does it help knock the sound down. What a fantastic product!

Excellent product. Horrible customer service experience with the pick up. Waited an hour for staff to actually get the order ready (yes, it was marked ready for pickup). A complete disaster.

Worth the price in ease of use alone

It was easy to cut and install. Very friendly to bare skin. Not much irritation lie traditional fiberglass. Safer amount of particulate released into the air, although always recommended to wear proper breathing protection. Has a better R-Value per inch than fiberglass. Don't let the increased price deter you. This is about as good as it gets before spray-in insulation and has a lot of the same benefits.
