never saw this roller until I was in Canadian Tire Bracebrisge and thought I would give it a try .Yes slightly more expensive BUT what a joy to work with. I will keep a supply on hand from now on. Never read the package before but paint ability for holding and NO splatter way above expectation. will always keep on hand

I have used the purdy marathon roller covers for years absolutely loved them it seems that lately they shed which cost me time and money.

The purdy marathon roller covers shed very badly. I could take my hand and rub over the cover and get wads of loose threds. I tape it and it pulls even more threds out and once you get to the point of no more threds coming out when you put it in the Pant and begin to roll the wall little fuzzy threds come out all over in the paint.

Perfect! Holds Paint and gives a Smooth Finish!

I spent lots of money on my paint, so I figured I might as well have a quality roller cover to apply the paint on my walls. I've used cheap roller covers in the past, never again! Marathon was GREAT! It applied the paint very nicely and held lots of paint so I didn't have to keep going back to the tray. I painted my room much faster with this roller cover than others I've used in the past.

Leaves fuzzies from first roll until you throw it away

Using this roller is great if you want to wreck your walls. Why would you make an application tool that leaves the tool on the wall. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of painting. Wasted money on a three pack of these plus time and paint wasted. Lesson learned.

Kept sliding off roller. Actually ballooned up on one end. I'll never use again.

amazing roller cover

As a painting contractor with more than 45 years of hands-on experiences. quality roller cover by purdy

this marathon roller cover was mailed out to me awhile back and i just started using it yesterday . it does pick up a good amount of material and release it well . i am using the1/2 inch cover on smooth walls i think it works great. good size stipple. i will continue using it on this job. Purdy Marathon

I found the Purdy marathon roller cover held more paint than most covers I have ever used. The half inch works good on flat and eggshell finishes anD the 3/8 worked good on Satin and left too much stipple for semi gloss when a 5/16 or 1/4 would work better. It certainly did speed up production on my jobs. Ithe was a little fuzzy the first us, almost needs washed and spun out first.

This product has great features

I was very pleased with the use of this product. It rolls smoothly and evenly. The application process was very effective and the final outcome looked great.

No lint and paints further.

Received sample in the mail and will be my future roll cover.

I received this product in the mail as a sample to try. Im hooked. It works as great now as it did the first time I used it!

Rolls nice

First thing I noticed was when I went to clean the marathon roller of lint there was almost none to speak of. I loaded up the roller and found it held enough paint to do a 2' x 4' area & then some, releasing the paint evenly and smooth. Going to clean it and try again on a ceiling.

This cover really holds the paint!
