The paint roller can hold a lot of paint without any spilling and covers the surface so well without any streaks or dripping. It makes it easy to cover a lot of surfaces in a short amount of time with this paint roller. The perfect paint roller for my paint jobs!

Marathon Paints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved how smoothly it applied, dried very quickly. Had no air bubbles on the surface. Made of good quality materials. It goes a long way too, done whole patio wall and shuttles, and did a small chair.

Smooth application

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Marathon's roller to repaint my outside steps. I used a paint and primer combo paint. This roller was able to hold a good amount of paint and distribute an even application when rolling. It is a softer material for a roller. It cleaned easy and dried pretty fast as well. Its lightweight so I think that helped. It did not drip like some rollers. If your looking to paint something that has a semi rough texture this is the roller for you.

Works so smooth!

Purdy Marathon

Over good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these marathon paint brushes several weeks ago. The other day I decided to try them out on a project I've been meaning to do for a while now. The brushes feel very sturdy. They hold very well and don't streak the paint.

Great rollers

Best Roller Covers in the business!

They hold a ton of paint and they last for multiple projects (if you have enough patience to wash them). They leave a high quality finish and can be used with almost any paint that I am using. They are very versatile and I use them for both interior and exterior applications.

Like roller when it rolls.

Used with 18" Purdy Revolution frame. Worked great for about 15 minutes. Then paint got in the roller end holes where the frame projections are inserted. From then on the roller slid instead of rolled. I could only get it to roll if I thumped the roller on the wall to jar it loose. Then it was 50/50 if it would roll or slide. The Revolution frame is solid and sturdy. The Marathon roller cover applied paint well and I would use it instead of other brands if I can get it to roll. Any suggesti...

Finally gave up on picking lint out of fresh paint. Have to return for a new set of rollers. Garbage product.

terrible product don't buy

I bought two 18" 3/8 nap rollers. upon using immediately tufts of fiber came loose; stuck with it and had to keep cleaning. the longer i went with it, it calmed down but what a hassle ; didn't dare open the second roller just wrapped the first and kept using until done. Cannot believe Purdy would put out such a poor product.

Had some concerns,

I have used Purdy Brushes in the past and was overwhelm in how much better they painted then some of the less expensive brushes. For that reason I thought I would try one of their rollers. As I was using it I was disapointed in the fact it seemed to be matting up as I used it. The paint did go on fine but I was concerned with how it seemed to matt. After I finished though the paint did look great and the finish was perfect. Will use again!
