Yard Light Pole with Crossarm

Installed new yard light pole to replace rusted out previous pole. New one has electric outlet and photo sensor for automatic lighting at dusk. Cross are holds sign with our names. Very nice to look at.

DEFECTIVE PHOTO CELL

DAYLIGHT TO DAWN SENSOR DEFECTIVE. Bought new, inspected to make sure package was sealed up from factory. Installed, set up, pole set in concrete. Photo cell did not work, stuck in the on position presumably. Photo cell does not cut off with light present. Junk. DO NOT BUY THIS

Light post

Was in perfect condition, was easy to install and came with outlet and photo sensor.

Useful product

This light post comes with a light sensor and outlet. While the post is easy to install, the space for wiring is tight. The screws for mounting the outlet are longer than necessary and pose a risk for shorting the wiring inside. I cut the screws shorter.

Exposed holes but good overall.

Went together easily and everything works. I found it odd that there are exposed holes above and below the dusk to dawn sensor. Both the receptacle and the sensor holes have the same screw holes predrilled but the receptacle holes are wider than the sensor itself is, so you can see the receptacle holes once the sensor is installed. I’ll fill them with some silicone. They’re small holes so it’s probably not necessary. If you look closely at the picture on the box you can even see the exposed hole...

Mostly helpful Lamp Post with dusk to dawn sensor

This post and electrical package, with dusk sensor and electrical outlet, comes with holes pre drilled and wiring conviently at the top between the sensor and outlet holes. Read the wiring diagram carefully. I thought I was right, but then re-read and needed to fix the sensor wiring. Holes pre drilled is a bonus and post is solid, not a two part slip fit.

Bought post, dug a dole, opened box and the photo cell was missing. Another 45 min trip to lowes.

Pole works and looks great

I buried the pole 18 inches down in the dirt did not use concrete in case have to remove later. If you tamp it well it will hold absolutely fine. Concrete is not necessary. The photo eye and electrical outlet work fine. Very satisfied with this product. Pole Looks great.
