Would RecommendI really liked the finished product and think the convenience outlet and photo-eye are nice features. The only difficulty I had with installation is that the screws and the holes they were supposed to feed into for attaching the photoeye and receptacle did not quite fit each other -- I think because some of the coating they used for weatherproofing ended up on the threads. Either tap and die the holes after the weatherproofing is applied or use slightly mismatched sizes to account for the weat...

Would Not RecommendIn December of 2020 someone commented that the pole is made of aluminum, not steel, as stated in the description. The company commented that they would change the description immediately. Well, it's March of 2022 and the description still says steel. I purchased it on that basis but saw this conversation so will be returning it.

Would have been nice if it was 96”. The outlet needed to be flipped so the cover would open upwards. I was able to reverse , however it only fits one way. Took a file to it and realized quickly it is made of aluminum. Oh well. Got it all to work. Looks great just a little short. Please have your outlets configured ground on bottom. Increase the length of the pipe and how about some steel so I don’t have to dig it back up in 4 or 5 years.

Went to place receptacle and it is too large to fit into the hole. Lots of extra work for nothing at all once we went to place it. Ridiculous. It’s also very lightweight so will probably last maybe a few years at most. Oh and by the way the first one we purchased didn’t even have the receptacle or instructions so obviously someone figured this out before we did and returned it without either. Probably threw it across the yard. Who knows…

Standard pole, light sensor plus outlet too
Would RecommendThe box doesn't say much about it, but it has a sensor for turning off and on the light without a need for a switch. But it also has a convenience outlet as well, which is going to help during Christmas time. Wiring instructions are sufficient for general application although you will need to wire the ground from the light fixture to the UF and outlet wires (sensor doesn't require it).
