The knobs on the crossbar are plastic I believe.
The post came on the day it was supposed to arrive. It is made of thick metal and has a nice black finish. Our electrician installed it with no problems. We like that it has a photo cell so we didn’t have to have a switch installed. We are looking forward to also using the outlet for holiday lights through the year.

Post advertised as with photocell without holes
The post was packaged in a box for photocell and outlet installation. When the repair guy opened the box, the two holes required to install these 2 items were missing. It was very frustrating that the item would be missing such important aspects of the pole
