wrong blades come with it
Would Not Recommendall the reviews stating that the blades that come with it are double bevel are correct. they should be single bevel or this doesn't work correctly. Pretty insane the manufacturer would let something like this happen. Even when there directions state don't use double bevel blades.....

Would RecommendSecond one I've used. They both work well. The blades do get full after use, but they are replaceable

Would RecommendOnce you get the hang of using the trimmer it works very well. practice first on a scrap wood first once you get it a feel how it woks then you can use on the final product you're going to use.
Though it does work, it takes some practice. A sharp blade and a steady hand, with a little patience, works better.

Would Not RecommendThis simply does not work, because they made using blades they don't recommend!!. Unless, that is, you are applying 3/4" veneer to 1/2" plywood and then yes, it would trim something off. But if you're trying to trim anything close is doesn't work. Why? Because their own instructions caution you to use a "Single Bevel" cutting blade, so that it can be installed with the point of the blade as close to the base material as possible. Doesn't cut cross grain
Would Not RecommendTried using this trimmer for a small veneer project and was very disappointed. Cutting with the grain it wouldn't stay in contact with the board and it does not cut cross grain. Finished the project with a very sharp knife.

Would Not RecommendPoor performance from this little guy. Perhaps the blade gets dull very quickly and you can only trim 2 feet before changing the blade, but I think you should make it through an 8 foot section of veneer before this dies on you. Also, perhaps the manufacturer could add a couple of spare blades to the package and add a couple of bucks to the price. Now, I have a holder that I can't find any blades for. A big waste of $10.

Would Not RecommendThis product works fairly well, but I wasn't satisfied with how close it gets to the door, or whatever. I ended up just using a box cutter with a new blade and followed it with a sanding block.
