What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this mulch for its fine, triple-shredded texture, natural black appearance, and soil-enriching properties. Many highlight how it spreads easily, enhances flower colors, retains moisture, and breaks down into nutrient-rich soil over time. However, a growing number report recent quality decline, receiving bags filled with large wood chunks, rocks, and dirt instead of fine mulch. Despite these inconsistencies, most customers remain loyal, valuing its premium feel and long-term garden benefits.

Best Finish Mulch
Would RecommendI layer plant mulched putting a thin layer of coarsely ground mulch down first so the plants/trees can breathe then cover that with a top coat that looks better. This is an excellent ‘finely ground’ mulch that holds its color and leaves a professional appearance,

1/3 of bags were black dirt
I use this for fill in when I don’t have time to order bulk mulch. Picked up 15 bags on Sunday. My kids helped cut and dump them around the plant beds. My wife walked over by the kids and then approached me asking why I was putting down topsoil. I went to check and sure enough the 5 bags the kids had dumped out were black dirt, looked like dirt and smelled like dirt. The other 10 bags were triple cut mulch. The difference was night and day. Be wary with the product, don’t know if this is quality...
I love this mulch!!
Would RecommendThis is really good mulch. It is very fine compared to other mulch so it doesn’t have big chunks of stuff like others. It breaks down and makes the soil better over time. The cost is ver reasonable. I would highly recommend it. I won’t use anything else.

The only mulch I buy
Would RecommendFinely ground, breaks down well. Better than the large stained wood chips that are always on sale. The only mulch I buy now. Doesn’t hold color all summer but that’s not the point of mulch in the first place.

The best mulch on the market. Clean triple cut.
Would RecommendThis is the best mulch I have found over the years. The dogs don't drag it in the house on their feet or hair. It protects the plants and holds the water to the plants under the mulch. I have used this for the last 6 years and like it even more. I buy it my the pallet that how much I like it and use it throughout my yard.
