Bad screws
Would Not RecommendThe small star drive is not deep enough to hold the screw. I'm a long time pro carpenter and still had a lot of trouble with these screws. I finally gave up and hammered them in.

The screws didn't get a firm bite and spun.
I bought a box to try them out. I used up what I had left from Backer-On, then started using the power pro. The power pro screws did not lock into the subfloor like the others, and just spun. Therefore I don't have any confidence in laying tile on that area until I scatter a few more screws in from the other brand.
