Best bucket ever for a dehumidifier. This matters because most are impossible to clean and over time all get gunky. This one will not and holds much more so don't need to use a hose.

Unit failing – just over one year old

I do not recommend Midea products. I purchased my unit in July of 2023, in September of 2024 I noticed frost forming on the coils. Since I was outside of the one-year warranty period, Midea refused to help fix or replace the unit. Prior to my unit’s issues, it was used in a basement to control humidity levels during the spring and summer. I regularly checked the filter and cleaned it when needed or prompted by the smart phone application. Midea support case: 112342179

Does what it's suppose to.

I got this after a fail attempt with a small one. I have about 800Sq ft. basement that's been super humid this last year. It got to the point where most of the floor was wet. I plugged this baby in about half a day the talk was full. I emptied the tank once a day and so in 2 days my basement was completely dry. I was extremely impressed. Broke after 1 year and 7 days

It stopped working after 1 year and 7 days, which is exactly 7 days after the warranty expired. Absolutely ridiculous. I recommend this to nobody

Owned for 2 days before breaking

Within 2 days, this unit stopped working. The fan wouldn't run properly, but the motor kept trying. They system got very hot and probably would have started a fire if I hadn't been home. UGH!

Sucks a lot of water out of the air

Sucks a lot of water out of the air, does give off a considerable amount of heat, but my basement has never been so dry, might buy a second one.

Solid

Only a month in, but the unit runs constantly and is taking out 5 gallons of humidity a day. I have this running in our upstairs family room and now 77 degrees feels comfortable. We are using less A/C now.

Dead after one year.

Clever design with nice tech interface, but the unit prematurely failed (after one season) and stopped extracting water from the air -- this is the same experience as MANY others.

Keeps freezing up

Removes humidity OK, but after running for a few hours, the coils freeze. Ice forms on the outside and it starts making popping noises.

Disappointing product

When I first setup the cube dehumidifier, I was excited about how easy it was to setup and use. Unfortunately, after only 15 months in continuous mode, it stopped working. There was no icing and I kept up on filter cleaning. The compressor stopped working and there appears to be rust on the coils.

Broke within a year

I have had this unit for less than a year already is broke and it seems that ice keeps forming on the sides where the filter vents are.

Great design

Like the cube design. It is easy to move quickly. The wireless app works as expected. If you want support quickly, it isn't happening. Unit arrived DOA and support wanted me to return. I fixed it myself and purchased a 3-year extended warranty. Unit is working well so far.

Good dehumidifier until it suddenly breaks

It worked good for a bit over a year. But then it started icing up and not dehumidifying anymore. We kept the filters clean and it was in a conditioned space. Since it was past its warranty, I took the cover off to look inside and all the coil tubing attachements were all rusted. Not sure if any refrigerant gas leaked inside our house due to cheap choice of materials for this unit.

Super effective dehumidifier

Works great! Pulling moisture out of the basement like a champ. We have 2 dehumidifiers in the basement and this one pulls out more water (by far). Love the compact design though it might be tough for some to lift the body of the dehumidifier to empty the water. I’m a 60-yo woman and have no problems though. Also love the indicators that give a sense of how full the bucket is. Great purchase!

Finally, A Good One

Item as described. Nice design. Have a tried a few and like this the best. Wifi works very well. Would buy again.

Stopped working less than 6 months

Ran in a clean basement. Kept up with maintenance. Stopped working in less than 6 months.

Bucket overflows when full and app can't detect fill level.

Great at removing moisture from the air. Seems to be more effective than any other dehumidifier I have used. However, in the two weeks I have used it, the bucket has overflowed twice and the unit continues to run. Yes, the unit is set to bucket mode. Also, the app does not display bucket fill level so I have to think whatever sensor detects fill level is defective. The mechanism for detecting fill level isn't obvious like most other models with a tilt switch. So 5 stars for dehumidifying, and 1 ...
