Small and mighty
It’s so small without the water tank and empties straight into my sump pump. It’s quiet, easy to operate, and I can set the timer for a few hours every day. Also dries my sweaters faster in my usually humid basement. I definitely do not miss emptying a water tank!

Works well, but bad design
Would Not RecommendI really don't like the fact that you have to lift the heavy body of the dehumidifier up to empty the water bucket. And then you have to lay the unit somewhere and it drips all over the floor. Works well as a dehumidifier, but it's a pretty dumb design. I gave mine away, would not recommend purchasing.

Died after 2 years
Would Not RecommendWorked really well for 2 years, then the coolant line failed (seal corroded out by the moisture it removes). Overall the design for filters is poor, as you're wrapping the 2 filters along the cooling coils, and 90 degree corners- makes high risk of bending it- you've got to be delicate/ careful. 2 years later, the fan works well, but corrosion on the bottom elements caused refrigerant leak, so now it just ices on the sides. I'm going to buy a different design/manufacturer for my next one...

Great Dehumidifier for a Great Price!
Would RecommendI've had other portable dehumidifiers that had a more conventional design. They were okay but I'm not so sure as efficient as the Media cube style unit. It works as advertised and draws the indoor humidity down fairly quickly. I like that it has both continuous drainage and bucket-less modes. I've only used it for about a month and am pleased so far. Just put it away today for the season but it will be back out come May, 2026 here in Central Kentucky!

Would RecommendI purchased two 20 pt cube dehumidifiers for my basement family room and laundry room. Very pleased with the quality of the unit and ease of operation. I like the idea of the pull- out screen filter - easy to clean and keeps the cooling coils clean - someone thought of a good idea! Also the unit is built well - nothing flimsy. Rare to see these days. Midea quality was a major factor in my decision to purchase a second cube dehumidifier and a window AC unit for my shop.

You indicated that the humidity was only 30% when I bought it because the humidity is over 50%. I complained to Midea and they admitted that they’re getting many customer complaints about the unit. Do not buy it.
