The next day, went to put the mailbox together and the box was missing the mailbox holder. Returned it to Lowes and got another one. Would RecommendI would give 4 stars, but I want to see how it looks over time, not sure about keeping it clean. After reading reviews i pretested the fit over the 4 inch post, it didn’t fit. I sanded the sides of the post and it was perfect, tight fit but went on with little effort, sanding was much easier prior to installing the post in the ground. This mailbox is an absolute NIGHTMARE to install although it's very misleading due to the appearance and what should be an easy installation. I installed the 4x4 post with redi-mix fast setting cement as instructed placing 24" in the ground leaving 48" above ground as instructed. The post is in two pieces and NO WHERE in the instructions does it tell you that the bottom portion of the post cover is made to fit over the 4x4 post, BUT the top portion which is the majority of the post that is stic...
