Would RecommendOverall pretty nice. The mailbox arm is not very sturdy, with a small spindle inside that a mailbox holder is supposed to attach to. Also, didn't mention that you needed a separate mailbox mounting bracket to attach your box to this arm.

Flimsy construction
Would Not RecommendThe two pieces that attach to the side of the post are of flimsy construction. Although it looks good, it won't hold up a reasonably strong mail box, maybe a cheap super thin stamped box, but nothing that will take the abuse of snow plows throwing snow at it over the winter. One winter and ours cracked and broke. For $99, you think it would be made a lot better. Not recommended.

Would RecommendThis post cover is easy to install and looks great. I have a new home, so I started from scratch - dug a hole, put in the post. I used some of the new expanding foam product to set the post in the ground. That was super easy to use and works great!. After the post was installed, the Westbrook mailbox post cover went on very quickly and easily. Very satisfied with the quality and looks!

Poor Quality
Would Not RecommendPurchased this mailbox last year and noticed the poor quality in the mailbox support arm upon opening. Inside the plastic arm you will find a small piece of wood to secure your mailbox to. The arm then attaches to the post only with plastic! There is no metal or wood at the attaching point. The mailbox sways in the wind, the first snowfall we got, the plow truck made easy work of that flimsy arm.
