Would RecommendMy fiancé and I needed a new mailbox post, as our previous one was infested with carpenter bees. Thus, we were looking for an attractive, economical, and preferably plastic replacement. This one worked perfectly with our plan for our outdoor landscaping, and it's reasonably priced. The flower box on the post makes for eye-catching and classy outdoor decor and by having the customer drill their own holes through the plastic for placement of the brackets, the post allows for individual freedom of ...
Actually a pretty good product.
Would RecommendLook we aren't going to be taking it back so we decided it was good enough. Had no issues about the 4x4 post, and it will require a board the width of the mailbox be screwed down to arm. Fun tip: If you don't use the pot but do mount the extra support, upside down on opposite side, you can put eye screws and hang a sweet house number.
White mailbox with planter
Would RecommendFirst off, I suggest you use power tools to screw it into the 4x4 post. I like how it looks when it's done. I think I need to plug the screw hole from the planter, bc when I water, brown liquid runs down the post and looks gross. 4 feet of post above ground was prefect and I didn't have to adjust the 4x4 post at all.

hardware has 3 Screws with white caps when it need 4, it has 3 galvanized lag bolts only needs 2. It does not have hardware to secure top piece to bottom piece. says to use a 4" post. It will not fit over a 4" post so must be trimmed before going in the ground. The drain hole in flower box is so high that the water drains out around the bottom lag bolt leaving stains running down the base. I must say is beautiful however it is a wife's dream and a husbands nightmare
Great accent piece
Would RecommendI purchased mailbox post along with Mayne window boxes... Very easy to install and looks great along with window boxes
Great post
I really like this post. It looks great. Easy to assemble and install. It fit perfectly over the existing 4x4 from my old mailbox. I saw where others had trouble with it fitting in the 4x4 but I had no such trouble. Installed in about 30 minutes. I would recommend buying 4 4 inch screws to hold the mailbox to the post. It does not come with a mailbox so you will need to grab one of those while in the store.
Cutest Little Box on the street!
Would RecommendI researched mailbox post for awhile, I wanted the cutest and sturdiest one I could find. This one has it all! It's absolutely perfect and SUCH an upgrade from our previous hideous contraption! Easy to put together if you're handy. A little difficult when attaching the top part of the post as it is a VERY tight fit and required both my husband and I pulling down on it to get it over the 4x4. But it's solid and not going anywhere!

Quality product at a great price
Would RecommendWas looking to buy a new light post for the front of the house but found them to be very pricey so I modified this poly mailbox post to fit my needs. I added a light and flipped the bracket where the mailbox would be mounted and added my street number plaque. Looks great!
Great looking post
Would RecommendGreat product for the money. Looked at different posts and I didn't want to spend $200.00+. The look is real and the material will last a long time. Instructions were easy to follow. If you have any issues with fitting the top piece over the 4x4, I found it helpful to sand down the corners first. Afterwards, it slipped right into place and the fit was tight.
Neighborhood envy
Would RecommendI had my eye on this thing for over a year and finally made the husband bite the bullet and install it. I don't know a thing about construction so this review won't be full of technical aspects, but I will say that this DOES NOT COME WITH A BRACKET and we had to cut wood and make our own because we didn't want to haul ourselves back to the store. I don't get why companies don't just include everything you need. Anyway, after a bit of tweaking and lots of digging (we replaced our entire post due ...
Prettiest Mailbox Post On My Street
Would RecommendI was skeptical about the quality of this mailbox post, but after reading the reviews, I decided to go for it. I'm so glad I did! It's really pretty and sturdy. After reading a couple of reviews about the mailbox arm not being as sturdy and strong as it really needs to be, I decided to give it some added strength by cutting down a 2 x 4 piece of lumber with my table saw so that it fit snugly inside the entire length of the mailbox arm, and then attached it to the post with a large "L" bracket. T...
Did not like!
Would Not RecommendI had purchased this mailbox post and did not notice that it had originally been returned to the store. When my husband and I were ready to install and opened the box, the vinyl was dirty and the top post which is suppose to fit into the pedestal was out of alignment. This was not worth the money and I was disappointed because I liked the way it looked but thought the quality was poor. I returned it and purchased a much nicer one.

Sturdier than I thought
Would RecommendWe had to keep the original 3.5 x 3.5 cast aluminum pole and this fit right over it. It's beautiful with fall mums and ivy.

Great mailbox!
Would RecommendAt first I was concerned about buying this mailbox from the endless reviews throughout the Internet. However, I really liked this one and decided to give it a try. I was concerned that the plastic was going to look very cheap but it did not. It was very easy to install. I read on a few reviews that some people had to shave the wooden post for the second post connection to the base because it was too narrow a fit. However, I used a 4x4x6 post and had no problem. The second sleeve of post goes on ...
Excellent Product/Excellent Price
Would RecommendThe low price of this product might make you skeptical that it is very good, but it is. The plastic is quiet heavy duty and every piece fits together nicely. Some older reviews questioned the fit of the assembly over the 4x4 but if you buy the standard 4x4x6' post from Lowes for $6.97 it fits over very nicely. The package comes with heavy duty lag bolts to hold up the arms and you'll need a nut-driver for those. They sell a small pressure treated board for $3.08 in the same department. You can s...
wife loved it
Would RecommendLooks great when flowers are planted in it.
Good product. Hard to get 4×4 pushed in middle.

Not as sturdy as I had hoped
Would Not RecommendI was torn about mounting the planter in the back of the post, but decided to go ahead and to it, and regret it now. The planter box is not very sturdy, wobbling like crazy when I was putting my plants in it. The planter box also leaks muddy water down the back of the post, making it look dirty. Now that I mounted it, if I take it off, then there will be holes in the polymer on the back side. Also, the mailbox post has only been up for about 3 weeks and the finish in the polymer is already pitti...
