Would RecommendEasy to install right over old ugly existing post. Nice clean look. You can position the flower box whatever height you want. I just put mums in the planter box and they are flourishing! Nice curb appeal. Definitely buy again.

I was a little disappointed it was just plastic given the price but I guess for quality wood mailbox post we’ve been conditioned to expect to pay a ton. Overall a decent post, looks good with a solid black box on it, and easy to put together.

Would RecommendYou need to buy a 6ft 4x4, center for hole,a mounting board and the actual mailbox itself to complete the project. What's in this box is in 4 pieces and easily slides over the 4x4. They give you a few bolts and screws to secure the mailbox arm and planter. I myself painted the whole thing matte black instead of fighting to keep it clean/white. It really does look nice and i appreciated that it is made in the USA!
