needs work

The inner bar is too loose, so with a few pushes it wobbles and the button slides out of the hole rendering the bar useless. The foot rarely holds on tile floor unless you treat it like a suction cup and clean and dampen it first. It can hold if someone slams on the door, but if opened easy and then wiggle the door, the bar looses its grip and falls over. Perfect doorjamb

This product worked perfectly for the sliding door. The adjustable length, convertible head, and steel construction made this the ideal choice for the sliding door. I even purchased a second one for my son! Highly recommended!

BEST $20 I EVER SPENT!

I can’t believe I got peace of mind and total security for $20! I bought this to put in the track of my patio deck door. I feel very safe at night. I would recommend it to everyone. It also works on regular doors.

Junk doesn't stay

The telescopic piece has to much play! This causes it to easily break down with a little pressure. This will fail everytime.

10 plus years old

I bought my brothers house that had been broken intto at least 4 times in 20 years. He had bought one of these nearly 20 years ago & it still works. I prop it against the front door & you can not get in. Im considering one for the french door in back. Im considering these as gifts for my nieces & brothers. Yes, that brother also in new house :-)

I have 5 of these bars, which I use on exterior and bedroom doors. They're easy to put in place and can secure any space. Love them!

silver pin slips inside bar easily

If you rapidly jiggle the door knob, it also causes the silver pin to slip inside the bar, causing it to shorten and fall.

Nothing an insert couldn't handle

I bought this to help secure a sliding glass door. A piece of metal right angle or wood inserted in the track would provide the same security for a heck of a lot less money. Needless to say, I'm keeping it because it does its job.

Used during hurricane to keep front double doors from punching in during storm. Worked great.
