Would Not RecommendWe have to replace these periodically. I was surprised by how easy this one went into the track. When I shut the door, I saw why--there was light streaming underneath. This product is some how not as wide as the one purchased 18 months ago and will not make a seal. Either md has made a change or Lowe's has stopped offering the version I need. Pretty disappointing because they worked okay in the past
Fit in my original wooden door threshold!
Would RecommendAlthough this was advertised as a replacement for an aluminum threshold, I did get it to fit in my 25 year old wooden threshold where the former rubber seal had torn. It was tight, but the fit is good and it is an excellent replacement.

The trick is
Easy to install. The trick is to be sure you have cleaned out the slot where the new edges will go. You'll probably need a vacuum to suck up the built up dirt and grime you scraped out.
