What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this door threshold seal for straightforward DIY installation, durable vinyl construction, and effective draft and pest protection. Most highlight how easily it slides into existing grooves with simple trimming and cleaning, while many appreciate the sturdy material that outlasts original seals. The primary appeal is cost savings—customers avoid expensive full-threshold replacements by installing just the seal. A few report fit challenges with older or non-standard thresholds, and some wish for additional color options. Overall, reviewers consider it a practical, reliable solution.

works great, easy DIY.
Would RecommendA little patience is required, but used it to replace an old seal on a door sill. Cut to fit with a utility knife. Removing the old dried out seal took longer than the install. Pro tip a little bit of lubrication speeds things along. You can use armor all, or dishwash liquid on the bottom of the W. Shove the end in about an inch from the casing, and push /slide it into place.

Another way to install the vinyl
Would RecommendMy old vinyl strip was so stiff that I couldn't pull it out. I decided to remove the threshold completely. (Mine was attached with silicone sealer.) Then I could scrub it in soapy water and remove the old strip in pieces. Also I could get the grit out of the track where the new seal goes. Then I installed the new seal by sliding it in from the end, using dish soap as lubricant. Then put the threshold back in place.
