Would Not RecommendThis product turned out to be too wide to insert into the threshold. I purchased the threshold from Lowe’s about 10 years ago and have bought three replacement inserts. This was the first one that was too wide. The only other insert was even bigger. I suggest bringing worn out one to measure against the new one(which I did) but it was my only option so I purchased it even though it was a little bigger. I cut in down and forced it to fit, but don’t think it will last.

MD threshold rubber seal
These seals are always very difficult because they do not give needed dimensions. I have bought others that did not fit. Fortunately this one did fit. When you get the right size, everything is fine.

Easy fix
Would RecommendI thought I needed the whole threshold replaced —was quoted $150. I saw that they sold the rubber seal separately for $6.78, so I pulled out the torn seal, cleaned the channels, and popped in the new seal. This is an incredibly easy fix and a huge savings over hiring someone.
