Pictures differ
Would RecommendOne picture shows low profile older style threshold with m-d 13219 threshold insert, Which also has a metal strip like in the picture some people need that one if they have an the older version threshold. The other picture is of a newer style threshold and vinyl insert.

Would RecommendNothing wrong with it. Nice quality. I should have measured my doorway, though. I need 45 inches. non-standard. I wound up buying 2 wooden thresholds and cutting one with a skill saw.

Best alternative to a discontinued model
Would RecommendWhen the seal in my 30 year old threshold needed replacement I looked long and hard to no avail; I had to replace the entire assembly so I chose the closest dimensional match which was this one. In terms of material quality this deserves 5 stars, but in terms of design it only deserves 2 or 3 stars. If you choose the right threshold and install it properly this will do a fantastic job, but my complaints have to do with installation. Would RecommendI bought this threshold to complete the entrance door opening to my family room and the NEW Plank Vinyl flooring, which I love and very recently purchased from Lowes. This new floor is outstanding and I almost like it better than the Pergo flooring from Lowes which I bought one year ago (2017) for my kitchen.
