Easy as could be.

I was able to put up a short gutter over my back door 16' long within 2 hours. Did it without having to get someone to help (hold the other end). Went in quick, now we no longer have to walk through a waterfall to get to the garage. Really easy to install. Can't give a long time quality rating yet, only put it up a couple weeks ago.

Good Product

I used this threshold for custom transition fitting under the door between the living room & porch. The previous residents (my in-laws) had had made numerous failed attempts to stop the draft & insects coming from under the door. This threshold allowed me to custom cut & slide water pipe insulation in the two gaps on either lengths under the threshold. I got a perfect fit. Sturdy construction, only needed 48" but it cut fine and installed fine once we figured out how to get the rubber in with no end to slide in from.

My My Needs

I purchased this threshold to replace one on a 36" doorway that is on the outside of my house. This doorway opens onto a concrete patio and is flush with the patio. I needed a threshold that was 40" long to stretch between the bricks on either side of the door so I could seal the opening and prevent water from leaking in. Since I previously had a wooden threshold on this door (which rotted), I had a set of holes in the concrete to use for anchors. I easily translated the hole pattern to the area...

I bought this threshold because it looked exactly like our existing threshold whose vinyl insert had worn out over time. This means for me it was perfect but much harder to instal than I had expected. I considered buying a spare vinyl insert (only) but it is good thing I didn't because the shape of the channel holding it in place had changed over the years so a replacement vinyl insert would not have fitted our old threshold.
