Cuts great...BUT

So the saw cuts great, plenty of power and pretty decent fence..My third time using it the handle on the fence lock snapped off. I called Lowes who had me call Kobalt who had me call the manufacturer, who said they don't have the part and would'nt know when or if they would. Best of the low-end table saws?

I really wanted to stay below $400 for a tool I need, but I only use it occasionally. I really wanted a rack and pinion-style fence. At my price range, I appeared destined for a Skil saw which is highly rated, but it also felt like it had too many compromises. That's relative, I know. I’m shocked and disappointed by how poorly built this saw is, especially compared to the superior build quality of nearly every other saw in its category. The fence is a joke, the miter gauge is awful, the table could not be cheaper. I just don’t understand how Kobalt thought this was a passable product. I had a vital part break and Lowe’s will do nothing to help fix it. A very expensive paperweight and a lesson to never buy Kobalt again.

Table Saw Issue

Don't buy this product with expections of it lasting through the 3 year warranty. Right out of the box the fence woulding lock down. I called the warrenty phone number and I was sent another one. After nine months the gear that raises and lowers the blade wountn't work any more. I called and they said it wasn't a part that could be replaced and I could bring it to the store for replacement. I went to the store and they said they wouldn't replace it after 90 days. Worthless warrenty!!

horrible fence, good wheels and moveability

The fence is absolute trash. The best thing is to run the right side outfeed all the way in, and set the fence against the blade, then move the right side outfeed to your width, when ripping boards. The wheels and ability to fold it up and move it easily are the only reason I kept it

Bring someone with you to load heavy products.

Haven’t used the product yet. I purchased a vanity and top plus the saw on the same day you had to order the saw I picked up vanity on day of purchase. I had just had elbow surgery and the lady at customer service paged 4 times to get someone to help me load it but no one came. After about 25 minutes another customer that was waiting offered to help me load since no one showed up.
