Assembly out of the box is very difficult

I didn't even consider having to assemble the saw, but it was a nightmare. The instructions were very poor and YouTubes I checked out all had slightly different models of the product. Even my friend, a retired machinist was scratching his head, baffled. But only with his help did we get the saw assembled. seized motorcycle

i loved this thing after purchase then and then i didn't. It came out of extended warranty and just a couple months later the motor seized. it was after the warranty but was very gently used. It maybe had 50 boards put through it. It didn't seize while using but had sat for 3 months then came back to use it again and nothing. I got my table saw for home improvement projects and hobby wood working. It has worked very well for everything I've throne at it as a hobbyist and diy'er. The only complaint I have from my operation is that I think the rolling stand should be sold separately. I don't have alot of room for wheeling around a saw that won't fit anywhere. The rolling stand is something I'll never get to use because I have to carry mine down stair and it is quite heavy and big. Overall I love the saw, it's built so...

Who wrote the instructions!

Great table saw! Kobalt has some very good products. I even have one of their miter saws. I bought this product because it came with a portable stand. But I would like to meet the person who put together the instructions for the assembly of the stand or maybe not. So, be prepared! Took me about 2 hours to assemble, accurately about 30 minutes of work and 90 minutes figuring out the instructions. All in all, excellent product for the cost.

NO REPLACEMENT PARTS

If any part breaks, you cannot get a replacement part. What breaks first? Height adjustment bolt. Barely out of warranty. Again, there are NO replacement parts for this tool. Worked great.... until one small part broke that made the entire tool useless.

Nice table saw

Very nice saw. Very portable and super easy to set up and take down. The assembly was a bit tricky. The directions could have been a little better but not too hard to figure out. Took me about 1.5 hours. Overall I would definitely recommend this table saw.

Spend the money on something better

Riving knife will easily fall out of alignment and make cutting a pain. Safety catch back stop will lodge itself into the saw blade gap and requires constant adjustment to pass lumber through. Height adjustment handle broke off and required full return within first year of personal residential use. Kobalt uses too much plastic to be considered a reliable tool.

Good saw for the money

The first thing I will say is that it has one of the worst instructions I've ever seen. I managed to put it together, but it was missing some bolts. I called Kobalt customer service, and they told me they discontinued the saw? Why do they still sell it at Lowe's? Metabo clone needs tinkering

This is not a bad saw. With some tinkering it can cut very well. For the price it's hard to beat with some caveats. Apply some UHMW tape on the upper and lower inside rails, 10mil, or thinner. Clamp a 2080 or 20100 aluminum extrusion to the fence. If you calibrate it correctly after that, it will cut true. A $10 Hitachi soft start is worth it. Review of assembly, have not tested the saw

Difficult to assemble. The instructions are awful. Some of the screws would not insert evenly and properly. Had to rethread 2. One of the arms was bent about 30 degrees more than its brother. it took about 30 min of careful rebending to reshape the arm so the next mechanism would fit. Poor quality control..... China

This one had all of the parts in the box

I had to return the first of these I purchased. It was missing parts and Kobalt was unable (or unwilling) to supply them. Too bad, because it was well built. This replacement has all of the parts, was built in 2023 (the first one had a 2021 date), and is in good shape. The table insert is metal but not completely flat. customer service sucks

Box came destroyed. Obviously a product return with the saw dust and missing parts and no instructions. Customer service sucked said I could pay to ship it back or they could offer me a $10 refund😡😡
