48v Kobalt Weedeater

This 48v Kobalt weedeater is freaking awesome. It is easy to use and has 2 speeds. No need to worry if your weedeater is going to start or not. Wow… I love it … I’ve been using it for an hour and I haven’t needed to re charge it yet. A+++ Kobalt

Upgrades and Happy

I needed a new weed eater and exited for this Kobalt. This was easy to put together. The device is lightweight. Takes two batteries to operate. Easy to replace the weed eater.

Awesome

Wasn't hard to put together. Works great, didn't take long to trim around my house. It is a lot better than a gas weed eater, don't have to crank it r add fuel. Battery still have power left to it.

Easy to assemble / Nice Balance

The trimmer was easy to assemble and it comes with a 65 watt charger so you can charge both batteries at the same time. The charging time was quick, under an hour. The trimmer has a good balanced feel when the batteries are in, but it was on the slightly heavy side. The bump line feed worked very well. I had no trouble trimming weeds and grass. it run very quiet.

Love it.

This is an awesome trimmer. The exchangeable base is pretty neat. It’s effective and was easy to put together. It came with all you need including batteries. We have other products in the same line so we added the plugged in charger to show the difference.

48 volt

Replaced my 40volt. This is definitely better built and better quality

Powerful, Practical and Too Notch WeedWacker

Used my new Kobalt WeedWacker today and it got the job done in almost half the time as my old unit. This device has input for 2 batteries for extra long run time. I was concerned it would be too heavy with the batteries but the design balances the weight distribution and it felt comfortable to use on a 1/4 acre yard. The batteries charged extremely fast with the included charger and 65 watt USB c cables. The unit is adjustable for any individual height requirements. It was easy to set up with ou...

Kobalt String Trimmer Kit 48v

This is great and does a fantastic job quote quickly. I am unsure how long a full charge of a battery pack lasts, but the good news is that there's two battery packs (including accessories for charging)! Also, BIG NEWS, there are more attachments available. This seemingly singular KOBALT tool can be transformed into several others due to its UNIVERSAL CONNECT (UC) compatibility. I am already excited about getting the UC pole saw with extender; several possibilities for usefulness.

Great trimmer for home owner

Packaged well and easy to unpack, assemble with clear instructions. Comes with more than what is minimally required which is a great plus. Weight is very light compared to most other trimmers and the power is on par with expectations, In thicker grass such as thick crab grass you do need to go slower than a gas powered however that is to be expected. Overall this is a great trimmer for normal yards and battery life is ample enough to finish an entire yard with left over power. Operating the tr...

Kobalt trimmer easy to use.

I received my battery powered string weed eater today. I used around my yard around all my flower beds and property line. It is awesome. I had never used a battery powered one before now I want go back to my gas one.

Impressed is an understatement as I love this!!

Absolutely 💯 percent impressed with this Kobalt electric weedeater. I have a Stihl one as comparison and this one I prefer as it is lighter and WHISPER QUIET! no need for hearing protection so you can hear things around you like vehicles, kids, or dogs. I live on a busy street so I want to be safe when they pass by. I used on a fenced in quarter acre and there was plenty of battery 🔋 life remaining to do more. I'm now going to be looking for other attachments I can use as this is now one ...

Awesome Product!

This product is perfect for a woman. Not heavy and works really well. Battery life is great!

Strong, Quality cordless trimmer

I purchased this trimmer with mounting the Shakespeare brush capable head in mind and it worked out great!

Excellent Replacement

After many years of faithful service it was time to retire my 40 volt Kobalt trimmer and replace it with this newer 48 volt version. After opening the package and making sure all parts were included, the assembly was very quick and simple. The 24 volt batteries will charge on a standard Kobalt 24 volt charger or can be charged with the included adapter and charged with a UBC-C cable (also included). The 24 volt batteries are compatible with other Kobalt 24 volt tools. The overall weight of the 4...

Impressive Cordless Weed Trimmer!

This unit is all you need for a normal sized yard. Pros: Very good battery life with two 24 VDC batteries for up to 48 VDC strength. Trimmed over 500 ft of driveway/sidewalk/curb edge, 400 ft of both sides of a field fence as well as around barn and several flat areas inaccessible with zero turn as well as perimeter of a 44x60 ft. building on a single charge. The 0.095 trimmer line is heavy duty enough for any grass trimming without excessive breakage and bump spooled easily. With the two b...

Powerful! But a strange battery charging system

WOW has this thing got the power. You can FEEL it, and the bump feed works quite well. My only complaint is the weird charging method for the batteries. You have to have BOTH batteries attached and while it LOOKS like you can charge them ON the trimmer, it seems that only 1 will charge that way. There are USB-C ports for charging on the batteries and a seperate charging dock...a bit confusing but I plan to get to the bottom of how to do it the right way

Strong Performance Held Back by bad Features

I wanted to like this Kobalt trimmer more than I do, but there are a couple of design choices that really hold it back. The biggest issue for me is the battery setup. It requires both batteries to run at the same time, but only comes with one charger. That’s honestly a pretty big inconvenience—charging becomes a slow, two-step process, and it just feels poorly thought out. That said, I will give credit where it’s due: the power surprised me. It’s stronger than I expected and honestly rivals my...

Works as advertised

This is my 1st battery operated weed wacker and I have found no problem. The tool was easy to put together out of the box. No issues with the batteries. Compared to a gas powered unit the electric one was comparable to but much quieter which i really appreciated. I recommend it.

It’s a great product for the price.

I like the ease of operating it. It gets the job done.
