Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 48V MAX (24Vx2) 15-in Attachment Capable Battery String Trimmer Kit, (2) 3.0Ah Batteries and Charger Included

Great light weight trimmer.

I loved this quieter, easier to use weedeater. It weighs a lot less than my Husqvarna without the noise and vibration.

Powerful light weight Trimmer with support Handle

Very easy to assemble, light weight with two batteries and charging codes, used in the backyard to cut the ditch with long & hard limbs like grass, very powerful trimmer with 48V MAX power we can efficiently cut large area in short period of time, strongly recommend as expected my wife can easily use it for small areas to cleanup

Great Replacement for Gas Powered Trimmer

This battery trimmer will replace a gas powered unit that had become more difficult to maintain to run smoothly. The new battery trimmer runs great with two speed settings as well as variable speed based on the pressure on the trigger. It is weighted a bit differently, but that should be easy to get used to. The biggest plus is as long you have a battery charge, you just pick it up and it's ready to go. I tested it for about fifteen minutes and did not have to bump at all to advance the line, s...

Love this

This battery operated weed eater is so convenient.. it comes with two batteries and the USB cables to charge them. I think if you needed to charge and had no electricity..you could charge them with solar or a generator

Lightweight Powerful String Trimmer.

Like this is lightweight, easy to use, and very powerful string trimmer. This thing goes quickly through the grass in my yard. Kobalt 48V 15-in brushless string trimmer. Up to 45 minutes of run time with two 24V 3.0 Ah batteries. Add your attachment to the power head and complete the yard work. 5-year limited tool warranty.

Good battery operated tools

This is a solid pick if you are in the market for a battery-operated lawn tool. The 48V MAX is quiet and easy to use. You can use the batteries from other 24V systems that Kobalt has. The universal shaft allows for you to attach any universal head. The batteries charge using a USB-C charger.

High quality, powerful trimmer with one quirk

Overall this is a great trimmer. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, but it is not perfect, so I reserve 5 stars for perfect products. For the positive points: - Very powerful - Interchangeable batteries with other Kobalt products - Easy to put together and use - Can charge the batteries while they are in the trimmer, they don't have to be removed - Allows the handle to be rotated easily to allow for edging However, there is one quirk that I think could be improved. To extract more string...

48v interchangeable head trimmer

This 48v Kobalt attachment compatible string trimmer is lightweight due to its use of two 24v batteries instead of a single bulky 48v. It came packed nicely with a charger, two batteries, extra charger cord as the 110 plug allows for cell phone charging at the same plug. The trimmer was easy to assemble, as the head snaps in place and the adjustable handle just hand screws to attach. Looking forward to buying more heads to do more jobs in my yard. This trimmer has plenty of power.

Great Powerful Trimmer

I really like the new 48v line, because I already have the 24 v batteries from other tools I get the added power and do not need to buy different batteries. This tool has plenty of power and lasts a reasonable amount of time on the charge. These are also my first Kobalt batteries with the USB C charging and it is a nice feature, taking up a lot less room on the workbench compared to the other bulky chargers. The universal connect feature is also really well done and the connection feels signi...

Very powerful, sturdy, USB-C batteries

The Kobalt Attachment Capable Battery String Trimmer Kit is a great addition to my outdoor tools. The tool is easy to assemble, mostly by hand, you only need a screwdriver to attach the guard (and it’s worth pointing out that this part of the tool is made of a very high quality and really sturdy!). The trimmer attachment is very easy to attach or detach, so I’m likely going to add additional attachments as needed. The kit comes with 2 batteries, charger, wall charger with 3 ports (2xUSB-C and 1x...

Good Value Trimmer

This trimmer is a good value, and is reasonably good build quality. Its length is perfect ergonomically for the task. Trimmers that are too short can be awkward to use. The batteries had more than enough charge to trim my entire 1/4 acre lot. It even came loaded with trimmer line. However I am taking away 1 star for power/torque. This was not as strong as my old gas trimmer and several times I had to pull the trimmer head back to let it gain speed again before I could keep trimming. It’s got two...

String Trimmer Delivers with Power and Flexibility

I am completely impressed with the Kobalt 48V String Trimmer. First of all, the trimmer was very easy to assemble and even came with string pre-loaded on the spindle. I really appreciate. I would suggest however that the first thing you do when opening the box is start charging both batteries. You'll need them both fully charged once you finish assembling the trimmer (which only took me 5 minutes). Important to note this unit has 2 batteries that must both be used to operate the trimmer. Very good product. Very light, cuts real great....

Looks can be deceiving. Its quieter than i expect. I love the 2 speeds. Its shuts down when you release the Trigger. Setting 2 has great power. ......

Excellent String Trimmer

Everything you need, except a phillps screwdriver, is in the box. The string trimmer is easy to assemble and to use, just follow the directions in the literature. The trimmer is lightweight and does a good job. The trimmer is also compatible with other attachments that Lowe's offers. I used it to cut down some grass and English ivory that was growing outside of the yard. This an excellent product and I highly recommend it.

Huge bang for your buck.

This is a serious string trimmer with every feature you could ask for. The dual bump head with easy reload is a welcome feature coming from another brand that requires proprietary cartridges. It's nice to be able to use thicker gauges of string so I don't have to re-feed every time I hit a landscaping stone or foundation of the house. The batteries actually lasted longer than advertised and allowed me to do both my front yard, and backyard on one charge. I like being able to charge the batt...

This is the future of landscaping tools right here

This is the future of landscaping tools, I also have the Kobalt Battery operated mower and I gotta say these 2 tools together are so much batter that doing it the old way with all the extension cords and gas and everything, super powerful compared to even the higher horsepower stuff out these, and all withoutr all that annoying noise traditionally associated with landscaping tools.
