Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 48V MAX (24Vx2) 15-in Attachment Capable Battery String Trimmer Kit, (2) 3.0Ah Batteries and Charger Included

Solid trimmer for regular yard work.

Before & after using the Kobalt 48V trimmer. My yard doesn’t have a ton of grass, but the areas that do were pretty overgrown. It handled it and got the job done. Not the most powerful I’ve used, but solid for regular yard work. Battery drains faster on thicker grass and charging takes a while, but overall it works. #TestedByJay #LawnCare #BeforeAndAfter #ProductReview #NoFluff

Weed eater

Well cant have enough yard tools! I seem to eat weed trimmers. This one-is pretty tough and easy to put together. It can have other attachments, which is real convenient. Also can use the batteries across many platforms. Cool charger not bulky.

Lightweight and fast charging

I’m impressed with the way the trimmer works. Not very heavy while working with and pretty quiet. Has two power settings and uses both batteries to activate. I like how you can change speed but remember, when doing this it exhausts your batteries faster. Besides that I think and know that this is a solid weed eater that could get a hours use if done correctly.

Ease of use

Love the light weight, easy to use

This is a must have if you run Kobalt power tools

I absolutely love the power and battery life. The fact that I'm considering selling my echo gas weed eater says something. And I haven't even purchased the edger or saw attachment.

Weedeater

This product is perfect for everything when it comes to weed eating. Easy to use and put together. Comes with everything you need to make it work to include 2 USB C cables so you can charge both batteries at the same time. Also comes with a dual plug in piece.

Awesome edger

Very good trimmer, edger, weed eater. Relativley lightweight, and easy to assemble. Comes with two batteries, and has two power levels or speeds. It works very easily, and cuts very well.

Solid, and efficient but less versatile

Good, lightweight battery option for trimming. I have a decent sized yard and can get through the whole property on about half a battery, sometimes I use the same 5ah batteries for the mower and this with no problem. Only complaint is that it’s tough to use as an edger without buying the interchangeable attachment separately. Other trimmers I have used will allow you to flip the head over for edging, and you can with this attachment, it’s just a little cumbersome.

Lighter than gas

Works great so far

Fantastic

Just as powerful as my previous gas version. Battery life os pretty good. About 45 min of solid nonstop work. Then, just replace batteries for another run. The attachment options are also nice. The pole saw worked fantastic for some low hanging tree branches. Great product. Highly recommend.

Great product

Great product and works well. The battery life is great.

Powerful Lightweight Weedeater

Light weight and as powerful as gas weedeater. Was able to weedeat boarders of entire yard on a single charge. Fast recharge. The universal connect easy to swith from weedeating to other functions. Like the two speed levels for thicker foliage.

Excellent Purchase

The product was very simple to assemble. There was a decent charge on the battery out of the box.

Weed eater is super easy

Easy to use, no gas, put battery in and go. Cuts with ease

Works well, both batteries likely needed

It seems well built. It trims grass fine and is fairly light weight. It comes with 2 batteries and charger. Both batteries can be used at the same time, which are needed in order to trim a 1/3 acre lot. One battery will not do it.

Electric mower

Nothing

Battery Wouldn’t Charge – Very Disappointing

I was really disappointed with this product. The battery wouldn’t charge at all, which made it impossible to use. I expected better quality and reliability. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this based on my experience.

Worth the money!

This weed eater is very powerful, it cuts so good, I was impressed.
