Needed something to keep in my truck when I travel to our property. Always have some type of downed trees or limbs. My niece and cousin used it for our work weekend. One is 19 the other is 12. So easy to use!!

Worked for an hour or so

This worked really well until it just stopped working. Cut one small tree down and the start button is lit up and it clicks over when engaging the trigger, but just won’t work. Kobalt seems to be having issues with motors burning out lately, as a long time kobalt guy this is disappointment.

I was impressed with the power of this 80-volt 18-inch battery chainsaw. It cuts through medium to large branches easily and feels comparable to a gas chainsaw without the noise, fumes, or pull-start hassle. Perfect Saw that’s almost beats Gas Saw

Shipping cannot be trusted

Received saw damaged! Returned, and have been told 3 times it has been delivered. After having refused the package from FedEx . Spoke with Lowe's customer support who assured me it would be removed from my debit card. We will see🤞

Quite please overall

The saw works great. I have a 6.0 Ah battery so it lasts a while. Definitely with getting a higher Ah battery if you have a lot of cutting to do. I am very pleased with the saw. I'm giving it 4 stars because the one major drawback is that it leaks a lot of bar/chain oil and creates a pretty big mess.
