Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 309 -Piece Metric and standard (SAE) Mechanics Tool Set with Hard Case
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the tool set for exceptional value and solid build quality, with most highlighting the comprehensive 309-piece selection as an outstanding deal. Reviewers consistently describe sockets, ratchets, and drivers as high quality, appreciating the full range of 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" drives with color-coded metric and standard sizes. However, the storage case receives consistent criticism for poor latch design that breaks easily and fails to secure tools during transport. Several note missing deep sockets and extensions limit effectiveness for demanding tasks, though most agree the set covers basics well for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts. Overall, customers consider the tools themselves excellent despite storage and completeness concerns.

good set
Would RecommendThe only thing negative i could say is theres no spark plug socket or deep for 3/8ths amd the cases could be built better. Other than that you cant beat Kobalt tools ecspecially for the money, 309 pieces for $99 great deal
Everything in one
Would RecommendI loved how it came with all 3 sizes and not just 2.

No 3/8 or 1/2 deep sockets
Only 1/4 deep sockets are included in this set. Seems they would put this in the description. They keep it we’ll hidden, as I researched this item very well, I thought… disappointed.
