Fantastic Tools, Faulty Cases

To make a long story short: fantastic tools, faulty case. I got this toolset as a replacement for a similar model that my wife ordered for me as a gift. The case on that Kobalt set broke after one use. I wouldn't even say one use, the plastic bar that holds the latch assembly broke at the metal pins when I opened it to see what was inside. DEFINITELY A MUST BUY

Very nice set it's got everything you will need to work on your vehicle the trays are nice and tight the tools don't just fall out. the case mine came in has been good so far and hasn't fell apart used it yesterday to replace a starter and it had everything in one place

Loving His New Toolbox

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my hubby . Great tools. Positive you get every tool you need except for a couple. Negative it’s a little heavy and the slide out drawers are a little hard to push back in when you pull them out. Great toolbox and I saved a good bit due to the Christmas sale.

Tool set

Had to go to another town to purchase. The tool box was broken. Did not take it back as it was the only set in two stores. Unable to exchange. Needed the tools for a new job.

Case is too cheap

The case was damagedwhen we received it. all of the drawers were collapsed onto each other. The external shipping box was fine. We are also missing the T50 torx socket. Not happy about this purchase. WIll have to get it together to return to a local lowes.

Great Tool Set

This is a great tool set and the price is okay. Most importantly it is made in Taiwan and not Communist China. Thank you Lowes for giving us a choice.

Tools Great Tool Chest needs work

Purchased the 250 piece Pro 90 Tool set with tool chest on 11/07/2022. Very excited with the tools a great set of what I would call the most typically used tools on the market. However I am extremely disappointed in the tool chest. After removing the cardboard cover I noticed all the drawers were compacted down on top of each other. After removal the sides of the toolbox were bowed so badly the tool trays will not fit into the slots making the box almost useless. Because the toolbox is plastic I...

Tool case falls apart.

The case fell apart as soon as you opened a drawer. Got passed through 4 different phone numbers trying to get some customer service and a replacement tool cabinet (case). With all the comments about the case you would think that Kobalt would have come up with a better design. Terrible customer support.
