good but hard case ...

great kit and tools, hard case came in "broken on the right side" or "caved in" where the drawers don't exactly "slide" ... bought the 100 piece household set too and same issue

poor tool box

opened cardboard shipping box to find the right side lock lever in the bottom of the shipping box. the hinge point plastic broken. the top cross bar support on the box broken, the tool box sides are spread so wide that the slide trays are not in the box tracks and trays will not stay locked in place. they will fall out when carrying the box. Cannot recommend,

it's alright

the tools themselves are great, I've used kobalt tools for years and never had a problem however, the toolbox that this set came in is absolutely garbage, the drawers won't stay in and fall down on top of the other drawers. when I pulled this out of the shipping box, everything was tossed around and I had to redo the entire set. I guess I'll be buying a different empty toolbox to replace the garbage these came in. for the price, kobalt could have done better

Horrible Case

This is the worst case ever.. I am 100% brand loyal to KOBALT and to encounter this type of cheap garbage is very surprising.. I hope this is not an indication of the quality to expect from KOBALT in the future.

Case is Absolute Junk

I can't speak to the quality of the tools, since this it's getting returned, but I can tell you that the took box is a piece of crap. It doesn't fasten snugly on the corners, which allows all of the shelves to fall out of their tracks.

Toolbox is junk as are the tools

Purchased thsi to keep at a relative's home where I often have to do repairs. I was shocked at the poor quality of the case and tools. The case is so flimsy that it can't hold the shelves in place. The open end wrenches are so thin they will no doubt break and be very painful on the hands. Definitely spend more on a better set.

Poor quality

After many years I am breaking off from Kobalt. I could accept the plastic box falling apart with drawers sliding out. This set the sockets are thin and do not bite good to prevent rounding off bolts or nuts. About par with Harbor freight. Will go with dewalt or tekton set.

Excellent Tool Set

The tools are awesome and feel to be very good quality. Box sucks, and mostly will break with normal use very fast. My side broke during initial inspection. I suggest two things: place drawers only in postion indicated on front. (1, 2, 3, 4). Reinforce corners to help keep sides from separating. Overall price was outstanding so I do recommend this tool set for the DIYer

Cheap case

It's what i expected, good tools but case is cheap.

Just what I needed

I was looking for some tools that weren’t expensive but wanted the trays to keep organized in work bench tool box. I read the reviews and everyone said the box sucks so this set was exactly what I was looking for. Haven’t used them but if they are good quality I would give 5 stars

Like the tools, the tool box is flawed

Rating is low based on the tool box. I have purchased several of these attempting to get a usable set. With the 1st order the tool box arrived with the sides warped causing the drawers fall down and not able to be pulled out. Returned it. 2nd order arrived the same way but missing one socket. Adequate enough for my commercial lawn equipment

After 30 years working with a hodgepodge of tools, I decided to buy a matching set to better organize myself. I looked at several other brands and kept coming back to this one; mainly because it had 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 drive sockets. Case fell apart

The tools are actually good tools with a good warranty, but the case is piece of junk that fell apart soon as I removed the cardboard and after paying 230 dollars for the tools and it falls apart soon as I got it home, I probably should return them and buy a set with a better case.

Nice Set of Sockets - Terrible Case

Nice set of sockets. I bought this set because I wanted a complete set of sockets. Fairly complete but a few sizes not included. Box / open ended wrenches a short. a decent price for what you get. Case is terrible / useless.

Drawers are an issue

Overall quality tools. The case does not hold the drawers in place well. They slip out of place and can be hard to open or close. End up pull them all out and setting on ground while working instread of fighting to open and close. Frustrating at times
