Ice and Water Issue for 8 months.

Purchased the unit in July 2025. Started to have issues with the unit dispensing ice on its own. The dispensing of ice would occur when no one at home or in the middle of the night. Whirlpool Manufacturers support team has dispatch a technician three times to service the unit and the problem is still occurring. All the ice dispenser control boards and hardware have been replaced. The main system board in the rear of the unit has also been replaced. The service team and Whirlpool Tech team ...

Excessive Condensation

Condensation issues in the fridg. Has been an issue for months. Tried all different combinations. Including humidity button. This is before water line hooked up. Open door water drips on to the floor. Fridg also appears to be running a lot more than old unit. Additionally water lines in back are oroblematic.

Horrible service

This refrigerator was under the second through fifth year warranty period when it quit working completely. It was purchased April 11,2021 and quit working March 1,2026. We contacted KitchenAid immediately and were referred to an authorizes repair service. After tw0 visits, March 10 and again on the 16th, they determined that it was not repairable and were referred to another repair service. That person showed up on May 19th 2026 and said that ANOTHER repair person would be out to make repairs. ...

Has issue with the defrost drain and water starts leaking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is much better than the LG we had, in terms of storage capacity and shelf flexibility. We really like the small ice cubes and ability to make them in a sort amount of time. The temperature of the freezer, crisper and fridge are spot on with the settings. We got the black fingerprint finish to match the other appliances in the kitchen.

Very Pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with this refrigerator. Everything works well and its a beautiful n addiition to our kitchen. The only very minor point worthy of note, is that the non crushed ice cubes that it makes are smaller than standard. They are the size of a die (as in "pair of dice ." Small point...still give it 9.9/10

HORRIBLE QUALITY. DO NOT BUY!

The quality of this refrigerator is horrible. It makes an incredibly loud noise any time the compressor runs. I was told by the repair service that this is just what these refrigerators do and that there is nothing that can be done to fix it. Parts started breaking after about a year of normal use. The rubber gasket around the door is falling apart, and the plastic brace on the top shelf cracked and now hangs down in the back of the refrigerator. I regret wasting so much money on this appli...

Ice Cream wont Freeze

Noisy refrigerator

I bought this one in December of 2025 and it has a serious defect: NOISE! Looks Great But VERY Poor Quality

We purchased over 9k in Kitchen Aid appliances in 2020 and now, have to replace TWO of them. This refrigerator is one of the two. We have had issues with this fridge very early on (ice dispenser, compressor) and have to contact our home insurance and Kitchen Aid over five times in the past few years. Super Happy 3 Months Later
